Black Bean Brownies

ingredients

1.5 Cups Black Beans ( soaked o'night drained , rinsed and cooked til soft OR 1 400g tin )
2 TBS Cacao Powder (no I don't have my vowels mixed up , but you can use cocoa too ... lol)
1/4 Cup Melted Coconut Oil
1/4 Cup Melted Coconut Oil
1/2 Cup Maple or Agave Syrup
1/2 Cup Quick Oats
2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Vegan Choc Chips
1/2 Cup Walnuts chopped coarsely

cooking procedure

  1. Preheat oven to 180
  2. Combine just the 1st 8 ingredients NOT THE CHOC CHIPS and WALNUTS in a food processor and process until completely smooth.
  3. Stir in the choc chips and walnuts and pour into a 8 x 8" greased pan. Sprinkle extra choc chips and walnuts over the top and lightly press them in.
  4. Cook for approx 15-20 mins and wait for about 15 mins before cutting if you are disciplined (else you can just grab a spoon , top with Ice cream , run and lock yourself in your room and devour now ... lol )

These will firm up in the fridge.
