 Luv-a-Duck Investigations
Animal Liberation investigation teams entered the Luv-a-Duck establishment in Victoria on FIVE separate occasions to see if they were going to improve their standards. The scenes are appalling.
"We first went to the farm in May 2004. We didn't enter any sheds but were able to look inside through the open sides, and were concerned and puzzled by the behaviour of some of the ducks, especially the ones on their backs. We went back to the farm on 29/6/04 and rescued several sick ducks, two of whom were successfully treated and they (Diana and Twister) are still alive today. The police were called as soon as we left the farm that night. The following day the local policeman told us the disease was pasteurella anatipestifer. We returned on 22/7/04 and found the disease was still prevalent, and live ducks were buried in bins of dead ducks. We took two of these ducks to RSPCA. We went back in 14/8/2004 and told RSPCA that diseased ducks were still suffering. In September, a number of us had a meeting with the manager of the farm and were given an official tour, and we received info from ex workers regarding the culling of the sick ducks. We did further inspections on 1/11/04 and 6/12/04. We wrote a letter to the RSPCA in December advising them conditions were as bad as they were when the first complaint was made, plus we sent a report and video footage to DPI, Bureau of Animal Welfare, and RSPCA. And last Monday morning (24/1/05), we saw many sick and dead ducks, witnessed and filmed them being eaten by cats and crows, and a worker doing the daily gruesome cull."

 Kangaroo Cruelty
An extremely disturbing look at the kangaroo insdutry in Australia. This video was produced by UK animal rights group Viva!, and creating a huge stir in the UK when it was shown. It's a pity that it seems to be accepted in this country.
WARNING! Some scenes are extremely disturbing, including the shooter saying "you'd better turn off the camera", after which he grabs a joey out of the dead mother's pouch and stomps on it with his foot.

Rodeo (new version with closeup)
Look closely at the bottom of the screen where the big tough cowboy is taking care of the flank strap. See how calm the horse is until the flank strap is tightened round the tender underbelly/genital area of the horse. Have you read all about rodeos.
